About John Earnshaw Independent Financial Advisers

Our principal, John Earnshaw BSc (Hons) MLIA (dip), has always been interested in financial services. Having attained a degree in Marketing at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, John's first experience in financial services was as a financial consultant with Norwich Union, servicing the needs of Preston, Blackpool and Lytham St. Annes. This experience with such a major player was invaluable to John, and he took it upon himself to set up John Earnshaw IFA, in the town of Poulton-Le-Fylde, as he wanted the opportunity to offer independent financial advice.

John prides himself on being adept in all aspects of the mortgage market and never talks in jargon, always making solutions easy to understand. Still aged only 35, John has grown the business to such an extent that there are now approximately 800 clients, both personal and corporate, many of whom were referred to John in the first instance. Whatever it is, John is always happy to make himself available and doesn't ever want to lose the personal touch. John is open and friendly and aims to develop long-term relationships with his clients offering ongoing service and suitable advice. Many clients have become friends with the trust and confidence that friendship brings.

John offers face to face and telephone appointments. He is by no means a salesman and stresses the reason that he has been so successful to date is due to this. He firmly believes there is no place for this approach in Financial Services. He is a great believer in offering quality, unbiased, financial advice.

We have another adviser, Sarah Tomlinson, who has 20 years experience with Nat West Bank behind her. Sarah is an Independent Mortgage Adviser and offers the personal touch too. In addition to Sarah, we have four administration support staff, Sarah, Linda, Linda (another one!) and Lynne. They do their utmost to ensure your mortgage application is progressing smoothly at every step of the way.
